| I do not know the owners, but when used to read on USABreeders, the Ponca City ads were frequent. There seems to be quite a few CB's and millers around there. I was thinking about what Kathy said and since I have been on YT I have seen the purchase of 2 preg. moms, I think. I could be wrong but seems like I remember one recently. I just cannot remember who or truthfully, if I am remembering correctly. Puppy Millers auction off pregnant bitches all the time, especially if the female is old and will likely not have another litter or no more than one. Maybe this one didn't sell at auction. Lordy, it is sickening to read about those sales. |

| The folks who contacted me- have all been in the past 6 months. I understand their thoughts- it is easier to buy a adult rather then raise a puppy and if bred to boot -saves a lot of time on their part. I did not sell any of my girls. |

| More then likely the female has had problems in the past- or you have someone who wants the money but does not want to go thru the work of raising a litter of puppies. This female could be pregnant with only one puppy. It will be a big risk for whoever buys her. |

| I have also heard of people wanting to buy pregnant females only. I just don't understand it all. I am too much of an animal lover to partake in any of that. I live in Oklahoma also. I tried to contact owner through that website but I am not a member so it wouldn't let me. I do think I have a friend who is a member, so maybe she could get me the info. Unfortunately, I don't have that kind of money but I do want to know the reasons for unloading the precious momma and babies. If I get the info, I will keep you guys posted.

| This just saddens me that someone can do this. I know we don't "all" think of our pets as family, but when you see something like this it really just breaks your heart.

| I have never heard of anything like this before. Why would someone do this...who would abandon their little girl like this? I think this is so sad, and I feel sorry for that doggie.

| poor little girl I am afraid this is not uncommon on the internet. There was a terrible site (several infact) It was a Commerical breeders auction site. They had pictures of Yorkie bitches that would break your heart..many were just plain worn out. Some were pregnant, some being auctioned with litters..also old, toothless males. All being presented as prime breeding stock. One female was 4 pounds at 5 yrs of age, looked worn out to me..she sold for $850. The bidding started at $50, so I made a bid, then was asked for my commercial breeders license number. Since I did not have one they blocked my bid. I thought she would go cheap and I could find her a home. It is long past time reputable breeders knew what was going on..and informative sites like Yorkie Talk will certainly open your eyes to the unethical practices in the dog world. If you really want an eye opener into the commerical breeders world try...USABREEDERS.COM |

| So sad. Obviously the poor thing is not loved and has only been used. A pregnant Yorkie for that price will end up in a puppy mill or a glorified kennel where her purpose in life will continue. Makes me want to vomit. Anyone that buys dogs from people who mistreat their females is guilty of promoting this. |
