How do you rate them for the star? Can't seem to find a way. |
That's heartbreaking to read about little Mila and how you were defrauded by this scum dealer. :( $5400? Just sickening. It's amazing that quality of breeder vs price seem to be negatively correlated when it comes to yorkie pups. |
Oh my God, I just saw video of yorkies with AAI. What kind of evil person could keep propagating that gene knowingly? |

I was able to review her page on my laptop but not ipad. |
Im sorry your poor baby and you are going through all of this |
Natalie Nelson I want to thank you ALL for the love and support for my baby Mila!! She has been a Lil trooper. I often wonder what she's thinking about her life. Yes her condition is AAi. She was born feb 15 2013. It's her birthday in a few minutes 🎂🍰. I got her on may 31st. She seemed perfect. Although what yorkie doesn't? Lol SHe was 1 pound when I got her. $5400.00 included her shipping. Yes for that price I anticipated a healthy pup. I was told immediately that she had an open font. The vet told me at that time to send her right back. But I was in love as soon as I saw her. By the second month I noticed she was walking very clumsy. I took her to an emergency room where I was told to change her diet she was malnutritioned. But after a few more days she stopped walking completely. I knew something was very wrong with her and I been crying over her ever since. I took her to my regular vet who took one look at her and said get her to a neurologist immediately. Again he told me to send this pup back to the breeder but I went to the neurologist instead. Cha-ching$$. I touched base with Natalie and her answer was oh the dog needs a surgery she will be fine.I don't give money back. Mila had a day of tests and i was told she had AAI. The neurologist said he wanted to try treating her with a cast and crating her for a couple months. He was worried about her teeny bones and the possibility of screws not working or breaking her bones. The chance was two thirds she could be ok without surgery. For about four months Mila went weekly for a cast change and sedation. She was on bedrest. Some weeks she had to go without the cast cause of infection under her neck from the cast.but we were happy cause she started to walk! The cast came off for good and about two months ago and she started off doing great. Two weeks ago we noticed she was developing a hunchback and she slowed way down on walking. Back to the neurologist we went and within a week Mila had her surgery. Because the vet told me its a birth defect caused by bad breeding and hereditary I reached out to Natalie to tell her it'sife threatening what the heck? I begged her to help me but she just flat out refused. She even told me this has NEVER happened in her 35 years of business etc. which I clearly no is not true from what I am hearing from other people. Mila is home with me now and will be celebrating her birthday like a princess. She deserves it. I hope I answered any questions I read. I do not no how to post pics but I will have my daughter do it tomorrow.i also don't have Facebook but I was able to see the comments on hers and her guest book and I thank you all. I'm so glad I found this site. God bless all you wonderful yorkie lovers!!!and happy first birthday to princess Mila! |
Happy Birthday Mila. It's my baby's birthday, too. Mila is so lucky to have a mom who woul:animal-pad go to the ends of the earth to help her. I'm so sorry that she has been so ill. I pray that this last surgery has healed her tiny body. I have been reading about Natalie for years. I thought she was going out of business; now I see she has just changed her business name. There is a wonderful AAI support group on Yahoo. Welcome to YT. You will also find a wealth of information here and a compassionate and passionate community of people who are so supportive. |
Gina your beautifully written and heart wrenching last post should be used in some way to alert new people here but there are so many people doing the same thing, it would be hard to pick just one breeder. I am going to put a warning on my signature if it's allowed. Happy Birthday little Mila, I so hope all your wonderful owner has done for you works this time.:aimeeyork:animal-pa You have left a footprint on our hearts. |
