| My girl won't go through four pounds in a month, we do include some wet throughout the week but honestly the cans are so big I end up having to throw those out too! She is 4.6 and just over one year old. We free feed and I think she is too skinny that was great info about how to tell if dog food is stale, I do not use te same brand listed and can really tell the lack of oily luster as well. There are many good storage tips but I agree with the "a couple of small bags" sentiment.
