Hi OP-(Sorry I don't know your name because you're not signing your posts.) It looks like you're very new to this site & you've been quite active lately. It'd be great if you introduced yourself a bit & let us know a little about you. I'm guessing you could be a young female because it sure sounds like that vet was trying to take advantage of someone young. Am I right? It's so difficult for me when someone posts & I don't know if they're old, young, male or female. Hope I'm not being too nosy! |

Wow that was fast,. You just posted not too long ago about what this supposed Vet wanted to do, and NOW you say you have already switched her to a new Vet??? I'm sorry but all your stories are running together and don't make sense. |
This vet has a license....if he has a "business" or if his family has a business, and they are practicing vet medicine in the State, they must be licensed to do so. WHAT is this vets name and WHAT is the name of his vet office? WHAT do YOU call him???? Dr Karl ???? |

Eggs are in the body in both humans and dogs, but they are not mature. Hormones tell them to mature therefore you can not harvest mature eggs without the proper hormones in place. Humans are not born with mature eggs.... That would mean a 2 month old would have periods and could get pregnant. Eggs are mature and release when estrogen and progesterone levels increase and decrease at the appropriate time in a cycle. The same with dogs. |

why are people arguing. I think the bottom line that everyone agrees with is that. 1. THIS IS RIDICULES 2. If the vet did suggest this, then he is a piss poor vet and she should find a new vet immediately. 3. Her dog SHOULD be spayed 4. This girl needs to do some major reading, or take some classes of something because although she is 25 years old, she knows about as much as an 10 year old about vets, dog care ect. she needs serious help. Perhaps she also needs classes on how to use google. |
