Here is the richell expandable pet pen I ordered. I think it's awesome. I put a piece of matching linoleum under it because I didn't like the ridges on the expandable pan. Doesn't it look awesome?

I am bringing my puppy home in a few weeks as well. I am considering buying the Richell pe. what size did you get and where did you purchase it from. thanks for any feedback!

I bought the medium which is the largest size. I bought the pen from dr. fosters and smith. the top and divider panel I bought from amazon. So far I really like it but I don't have my puppy yet. She will be the one to decide if it was worth the price.

I noticed one thing missing from your list ! Shampoo.
I use yorkie splash products that I found listed here on Yorkie Talk. Even if you don't plan on doing your own bathing, they have a great detangler spray. You should always spray coat before brushing so hair doesn't break off.
The shampoos and conditioner keeps hair nice and silky ! And I love the scents they have ! Good luck with your new baby !:

thanks for the suggestion. I have puppy shampoo from dr fosters and smith and my order of minksheen just got here today. I'll look into the yorkie splash. I don't have detagler spray and I also love scents.

I did but if anyone missed it I bought the pen on the dr. fosters and smith web site and the cove and divider panel (not pictured) on amazon.

I'm not sure if this would help but here is a picture of my 16 lb shih tzu Oreo. Even he would have enough space to play around and be comfortable. I'm sure you can get the small for a yorkie but I wanted the big one. I'll still post pics when I get the puppy. Unfortunately due to the horrible weather here the pick up date has been postponed.

Thanks for the visual. I don't think my yorkie will be real small he is already 2.5 pounds at 7 weeks but maybe the small pen will work. Weather has been freezing cold here as well, so I haven't been able to go see Rocco in a few weeks. I can't wait to bring him home!

I purchased the pen, cover and divider this morning. I got a really good price on the pen. I ended up purchasing the small I hope I bought the right size. thanks for sending the pictures. how much longer do you have to wait to pick up puppy. just wondering what made you choose female verses male? I am buying a male I hope I made the right choice, I am worried about marking, but I will have him neutered.There is a girl avaiable. The breeder thinks I should buy both, but I am afraid it will be too much work as I am fairly new to puppy world. have you ever owned two and if so is it double the trouble or did it work out okay? thanks again for help with Richell pen. Don't worry. My husband was against having a house dog and sleeping in our bed was out of the question. He loved her the first moment she ran over to him and she was in our bed by his hand within 2 weeks. If she really wants something she knows to go to Daddy but Big Mam didnt want a little house dog.

You are very welcome. Right now I don't know when I can pick her up. We are waiting for a shipment of microchips to come in. It was delayed due to the weather.

I chose a female because I already have a male dog and would love a little lady in the house. I am seriously considering adding a little male yorkie. Preferably her brother. I think it may be a challenge with housebreaking but they would keep each other company. It would be awesome at night. I've never had two puppies though.
