| That is wonderful! My puppy romeo has had short hair and his started growing some since we have started him on the Solid Gold Seameal. He still looks a lot like a red leg but I guess we will see, lol...I'm glad your baby's hair has started growing! She is beautiful! Keep me posted on how she does! Since she loooks a lot like Romeo except by color I am curious. :c)

| Tricia, what have you done differently to help her hair grow? Isabella's hair isn't growing very fast either.

| I find that my Lilly whose hair is in transition from a wiry coat to hopefully a silky coat is slow growing..Actually her wiry hair was getting longer and then all of a sudden her hair was getting short again!! I realized its because she is losing her wiry coat... Yeah!!! |

I switched their food to Life's Abundance , and they both get an oil supplement on their food. I have been using groommax oatmeal shampoo. Lexi's hair has grown a bit to, I cut some of Lexi's hair 4 weeks ago and can't tell it now. A groomer I talked to said if you get a puppy cut that it seems their hair grows back really fast. I'm to chicken to try that though..

| wow in just 3 weeks? It took forever for Gus's coat to grow after his accident. It's been 8 months and still is not as long as it was before the accident. They are both beatutiful furbabies.

| How old do they usually be before they have a long coat, Nelly is a yorkipoo but as you can see there is not much poo in her, but this is my first one so I don't know anything about their coat except Nelly's always looks oily. I don't know if this is the look she is suppose to have or not and her fur is getting longer I just don't know if it will grow like the typical yorkie's. By the way, how do you guys keep buckles in their hair? Nelly is 5 months old and hates them, I put it in and 2 seconds later she looks like a punk rocker because she has rubbed her head in a blanket or something. I don't put it tight or anything because it is just one of those baby clips, rubber bands are just to hard to get in because she will not stay still. Last edited by val; 01-04-2006 at 09:31 AM. |
