| Inanimate objects on the move Having only had larger dogs, I'm still finding it surprising when--in my peripheral vision--I see an inanimate object in motion across the floor with only the blur of Yorkie feet showing beneath. The most recent thing to take flight was my over-sized leather and fleece bedroom shoe that I saw through a doorway was heading down the hall at a good clip. Last night, my DH had placed a can of soda on the floor by his chair...temporarily. It was swiftly nabbed by the pull-tab and spirited to Piper's kennel without spilling much at all in the process. I'm used to her swiping toothpaste caps as I load her toothbrush or hair-clips as I grab the comb, but I'm now half-expecting to see her inexplicably breeze by with a serving dish or stack of books! lol What are some of the oddest things that your Yorkies have "liberated" from their usual positions?

| Haha--more shoes than he even has feet! I just put a load of laundry in, turned around, and a box of cereal had made its way into the living room. Piper is, of course, completely unashamed of her blatant theft.

| Mine is a terrible shoe thief. I have to keep the closet door closed at all times, or I will only have one of each shoe left. He will actually pull the slipper off my foot & zoom away with it. The funniest was when he had a shoe turned up where he couldn't see once & ran away...straight into a wall!

| When Daisy was a puppy she would rip the socks right off your feet and she would run for you to chase her. She would steal my husband's sponges while he was washing the car and rip them to shreds. She stole my gardening gloves and even flowers I was trying to plant every time without fail. It was such a fun game for her and she would go into her puppy bow play mode and wag that little tail. You could chase her all you wanted to but you would never catch her. It was so cute but frustrating. I miss those puppy days....sort of. Lol

| Panties.... It was so bad while I was pregnant that I had to keep going to the store and buying more because they both take them under the bed and due to the size of my stomach I could not get down there to get them.

| Is it weird that Kaji has never attempted to take anything that I haven't given him? Not even a sock!

| Lola mostly takes socks and paper. She used to like to steal my mom's flip flop, it was as big as her! Probably the funniest thing she's done is try to pull clothes out of the mostly shut bathroom door. The clothes are too big so she really has to pull and gives up part way through most of the time. She also stole a dixie cup full of seed beads today, no idea where she found it. Luckily I caught her before anything happened. My poodles never messed with anything, so it's really hard having a dog who gets into everything. She's the only thief out of the 9 dogs we've had, 5 of those dogs are yorkies. |

| It kind of reminds me of when my kids were young. Everything I do not want to enter her mouth I have to keep FAR out of her reach. She will entertain herself, when necessary, by throwing her toys around and chasing them. Much better than her playing with my things! |
