| New Puppie Bailee Hello ! We purchased our adorable female Yorkie 2weeks ago! All is going well. I am training her on pee pee pads as we live in a condo and it is too hard to go outside. Any help or suggestions welcome. Bailee is doing pretty good, not sure how long this will take?? Thanks, Nancy |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Hello and Welcome to YT. "Yorkies For Dummies" is the first one I recommend."Yorkshire Terriers: A Smart Owners Guide" is the second book. These are excellent resource books .Another book "How to Housebreak Your Dog in 7 Days" Is very helpful. They are not as easy to housebreak. Good luck

| Welcome! I found that the potty training depends on the personality of your Yorkie. Gizmo took to the pee pads right away with very few accidents and when we moved to our house he loved the dog door and going outside without any issues. My friend also has a Yorkie and he is 3 and still sometimes has issues. Stick with it! They are smart dogs just stubborn sometimes. |
