| Welcome to Y.T. And congratulations on your new pup. I just want to add that 8 weeks is a very young pup. You really need to make sure this pup eats every few hours or she can become hypoglycemic. This can be deadly for the pup. Good luck and welcome again.

| Congrats on your pup. 8 weeks is so young reputable breeders usually keep the puppies with there mom until 12 weeks because there mom is teaching them bite inhibition, socialization, and helping getting them started on potty training and just doggy things. You really need to watch out for hypoglycemia because the pup is so young and you need to make sure she is eating every couple of hours and that shes not left alone for more then a few hours at a time just in case she has a hypoglycemic episode because if she does and no one is there to help her she could end up dying. Nurtrical is good to keep on hand for hypoglycemia. Also make sure you don't take your pup to the petstore, for a walk, or to the groomer until about 2 weeks after having her last shots. Also make sure she gets to the vet within the first 42 hours of getting her.

| She has been eating very well since we got her and been very playful. We have her in crate at night bc she is yet to be potty trained. I usually get up in the middle of night and I'll use that time to check on her. |

| Congratulations, I got my Gizmo when he was 8 weeks old. He is doing great. We got a medium size crate and I put his blanket on one half of the crate and a pee pad on the other half. Since day one Gizmo never messed on his blanket. He would go on his pad and then back to his blanket. It was very easy for him to transition to the restroom. The vet was very shocked to hear I split the crate and more surprised that it worked. We transitioned him to the restroom after a week and a half. Hopefully you'll have the same luck if you try it. |

| Welcome and congratulations on your new baby. As others have said she needs to eat every couple of hours. Never leave her alone without food and water as her little body could become hypoglycemic. At that age and size their bodies cannot always regulate those things. They sell puppy play pens and larger dog pens for puppies that you can fit dishes, a bed, and a puppy pad with frame. The baby will be safe and have what it needs when you are not able to be right with it. |
