| It actually takes very little when using it. You can also use the spray, that is what I had my hubby use for his eye :-) I had ulterior motives. I wanted to see how it worked before I tried it myself hahaha. He said it didn't feel like anything when he sprayed it in there but it sure healed his eye, and fast. I was amazed because I'd been ordering it online as no pet stores were carrying it. Well the other day my husband finally seen it at petco. So apparently more people are learning about it. When I had my abdominal catheter put in, this product was not available, but once I read all about it, I was ready to try it, and its worked awesome on our people in our house as well as our pets for everything we've tried it or. I actually fibbed to my urologist for 4 months until I was sure it worked, then I finally came clean and told him I was using the animal version instead of the rx human one lol. Thankfully he didn't care as long as its working :-) I actually learned about this product or pets on a forum for paralyzed people that were using it :-) |

| If you order online, make sure it is not shipped through anywhere that is can freeze. The reason for this, is because the main way it works is the high oxygen level, freezing kills off the oxygen. It's pretty amazing stuff though, and is not made of a bunch of chemicals, it's pretty organic. |

| I just use plain water w/a baby terry cloth. If the eye booger is caked on, you can do a mini facial & just wet your fingers w/warm water, apply it on the eye & simply wipe off after it gets soft. You can also use a flea comb or the fine side of a comb & comb it off after it's gotten soft. Don't let the eye booger cake on & stay there for awhile, it will irritate the sensitive skin underneath. Try Gerber PURE water for mixing baby formula for him to drink. They have it @ walmart or target.

| We sell vetricyn at my work but I had never thought of using it for Lilah's goopy eyes!! I have heard a lot of folks are big on foods like first mates chicken and bluberries to reduce eye goopy- something to do with antioxidants I believe, o course it as the sales rep who told me that, lol! Does anyone use angel eyes or a similar product? I'm sure daily face washing is the only real way to beat it but it would be nice to have some help in the battle! Can't wait to check out the face wash recommendations, I'm in the market to fall in love with a comprehensive grooming line myself right now- going to have to start a thread about that I use a general tear stain removal product (trying for nightly) it is liquid and I wipe it onto her eye/moustache area and then comb her face wig our metal straight comb. We also use earth bath grooming wipes in mango tango.

I do this too. Just be careful when using the comb around the eyes, last thing you want is to poke them in the eye!
