| Growth spurt? Winston weighed 3 lbs at the vet at his 11 week check up which was 3 weeks ago, he was following the growth charts almost exactly to be 6.5 lbs full grown. I just weighed him at he's a full 4 lbs now at 14.5 weeks old! It seems like he gained a lot of weight in the past 3 weeks, do you think this just a normal growth spurt and will he return to being on track for 6.5-7lbs or is he going to be bigger? I love how he is right now, I wish he'd stay just like this!

| My Oscar was 4 lbs @ 12 weeks , now @ 2 years old he is 9 lbs.. Your pup could quite possibly be 7 to 9 lbs as adult.. Even so I would not worry about it , even 9 lbs is a very tiny dog... This is my sweetie.. |

| Awe, he is a cutie! He has such unique coloring, I like it! Winston is getting so much grey/white coming in right now, I'm really interested what his final coat will look like. I have a feeling he's going to loose most if not all of his black.

| Typically they grow faster at that stage. The chart is a loose guideline. Max was 3 pounds 2 ounces at 13 weeks. He grew to 9 pounds. Teddy was 6 pounds at 8 months. He grew to 8.5 pounds. My boys both had late growth spurts, around 11 months. (they are brothers) In the second year, Yorkies fill out and gain muscle mass.

| Miss Priss was so tiny and small and now she has filled out so much, she still looks so small but when I pick her up I can tell she has gained weight..ps, don't say anything around her, I think she is touchy when it comes to her weight...I think it is a girl thing, hehe.

| My Bandit is only 4 lbs at 10 months. Vet said he wouldn't get any bigger. Breeder told me he'd be at least 6 lbs. I wish he'd get over 5 lbs at least. I'm still holding out hope.
