OMG that sounds like my two. They pull the toy trick too to get the other off my lap. That shivering bit is just too funny.

It's a Dominance issue, and you have a choice weather you support that situation or not.

IF...
You support an Alpha of the two, then the other must be removed from your lap.

You do not, then the one doing the pushing should be moved away from you. ie: if you push, you leave.

Just ignoring this will probably cause an escalation to more aggressive behavior between the two.

It's clear who the dominant one is in our house and Molly is fine with the arrangement. I was amazed Macy was so creative on how she got her way. Macy has tried the toy diversion also.
