| Do you trim off long eye lashes? Will that help prevent tearing? I was told this by a groomer but can't find anything about it when researching it. |

| If the eyelash was curled in towards the eye & irritating the eyes, then that might be a problem...or an ingrown eyelash. Mimi has unusually long eye lashes & I don't cut them, I think they're pretty.

| I wouldn't cut the eyelashes themselves, but maybe the part closest to the inner eye corners, on their nose. That's the only part that I've seen that'd cause excessive tearing. Do you think maybe that's what your groomer meant?

Eyelashes shouldn't be a problem. The hair at the corner can be problematic when it is growing out. Some people cut, others let it grow until it lays down correctly. I had to do a lot combing while it was growing out.

YT 1000 Club Member | I don't cut Rasta's eyelashes. I think they're cute . They aren't a problem but the hair growing around his nose is...I constantly comb and have to put Vaseline /gel on it to keep it out of his eyes. |
