| New carrier... I posted a while back about how Straszny was doing quite well in his new doggie carrier. He has never hopped in it waiting to go somewhere as some of you have said yours do, but he was ok with it, and would go to sleep in it in stores. Anyway, I had to get a different one, he is 4lbs now and was to tall for the previous one. Thisa link to the bag I got for him: http://www.petsmart.com/global/produ...=1135961932638 It is roomier, but not huge for him by any means. Just a nice size with some extra room for him to grow. My question is regarding his negative attitude towards the bag. He whimpers and might even let out a bark or two...today I had to leave a store before I was TOLD to leave. I understand that he may take a little bit to get used to the new bag, but the other one he was liking from the start. I just hope he gets over this... Any thoughts? |

| Give it some more time. He needs to get use it first. By the way, does he prefer his old carrier? Some of them don't like too much space when it comes to carrier. They feel more secure in smaller space. I use a hard carrier we got from Petsmart. It was made by Petmate names Kennel Cab which has a seatbelt slot on top so you can secure it while driving. My puppy wasn't crazy about it at first but learned to love it quickly. If she sees us getting ready to go, she would be sitting in the carrier all ready to go. She sleeps in it too when she was little and still do if she gets tired or bored during the outting. She prefered her bed at home as it is winter and it's getting cold now. I am wondering, as we would like to get a soft carrier also, how do you secure it in the car? |

My Yorkies love to lay on their flannel beds I made them.. Go to a store and get a half yard of soft flannel material. Fold it to line the bottom of the carrier. Maybe then it would be morre comfotable. | |

| Thank you! Online it says it is 34.99, I only paid 25.90 I think. I was proud, and, I snuck it into the cart. My husband didn't know I got it until I started loading all my stuff into the truck!

| Lol..you guys are funny. I got it on sale too...but not really because the let me return my other one... and without a receipt, no money back but I was still more than satisfied. How do you secure bags like this? I hadn't thought of that...I have had someone in the car with me to hold it... |

| I am not really sure how to secure it, maybe put the seatbelt through the straps, just an idea, I will have to look.

| I have a really cute doggie bag that I got from Avon. It's black quilted with a fuzzy white Westie on the front. Which is great as our other dog is a Westie. Jasmine doesn't seem to mind being in it at all. I think she is fine as long as she can go with me. It's roomy and has the mesh on the top so she can see me. I was standing in line at Walmart with her in the bag in the cart. She is always so good when she is in the bag. She doesn't let out a peep. Which is not like Jasmine. She is normally a little ball of fire. She seems to know she has to be good and be quiet and doesn't seem to mind. Anyway, No one knew I had her in the bag and I had been in the store a good hour and 1/2. I had been in line for about 20 minutes and I could see little Jasmine's face staring up at me from the bag. I reached into the bag to pet her and I noticed a little red headed girl watching me. She looked to be about 4 or 5 yrs old. Finally she whispered something to her mommy and her mommy turned around and said "She thinks you have a dog in that purse. I told her you didn't. You just had a picture of a dog ON the purse." I love to take her with me and as long as she is in the bag she isn't hurting anyone or anything. |

| Let me know how it goes. My sister got me the blue one just like it for Christmas. I can't wait to see how the little guys take to it. We'll see in a few more weeks. Leah |

| Not a good trip. lol... Weellll.... Today we went to Walmart, got one thing, paid, and by the time I was checking out, he was whining. Loudly! Even some yiping! I haven't put a softer surface in the bag yet, maybe that will help. He did ok when we first got out of the car, but the longer we were in Walmart, the worse it got. The clerk was far from friendly, but I think she cracked a TINY fraction of a smile, but said nothing to me the entire time I checked out. Actually, she was quite unpleasent. So, hopefully things will get better with the bag. |

| I have taken Maddie to Walmart many times in her carrier and she was always so good and seemed to know to keep quiet...but the last couple of visits, she has let out a bark or two. The last time she barked, a clerk walked up to me and said, "Okay...as long as it stays in the bag!" I said, "That's where she staying," and the clerk just walked away. Then I ran into my mom and Maddie loves her and you should have seen that carrier wiggling as Maddie was trying to get out to see Grandma! It was quite comical! I love taking her with me! Does a body good to get out and about!

| I really like the carrier. I got a medium sized one so that both of mine fit. They do fine in theirs. I love taking them anywhere with me. I got a stroller a while back. |
