| It can be a problem with early bloomers Neutering can help, but is also a way for puppies to show dominance over the others. Humping is their way of figuring out the pecking order in a litter. |

| My puppy was humping since he was 9 weeks old Neutering helped a little. He still humps his bed and some toys every once in awhile and lifts his leg whe we go outside in every single corner or plant lol

| There was just a thread on here about a puppy humping a cat..think the pup was even younger than 15 weeks. Definitely a dominance thing. Even the females get in on the act |

| Oh yes, Gizmo is 5 months old and has been humping everything since I rescued him at 9 weeks. Today he sat next to me on the couch humping his new stuffed Xmas reindeer for about an hour straight haha. The only time I got embarrassed was at the park, when I was sitting talking to a mom of a 3 year old little girl, when all of a sudden I hear the little girl giggling, and her mom and I looked over at the same time, only to find Gizmo humping the little girls leg :-0 . Thankfully the mom was very understanding and just laughed and said, it's ok he's just being a puppy HAHAHAHA . |
