| ![]() The only dog shampoo I have is meant for adult dogs; I don't have puppy shampoo. I do have Johnson's head to toe baby wash. Would that be okay to use on a 11week old puppy? He's never had a bath yet.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() I wouldn't. The pH of people products is different than that needed by dogs and can cause irritation.

| ![]() I would use the dog shampoo adult or not rather then the human baby shampoo because dogs shampoo has a different ph level then human shampoo.

YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I use to use the Johnson's head to toe baby wash on Honey when I first got her but I was taking her a bath every week and dried out her skin but her coat was pretty. The vet said he recommends to just use dog shampoo but if I wanted to use Johnson's head to toe baby wash that I could only take her a bath every 2 1/2 weeks and just clean her with wipes the rest of the time. I hate the puppy smell so I just started using dog shampoo. |

| ![]() Yes, but it might dry out their fur/skin. It contains alcohol, when my daughters were little it used to dry out their skin so I never used it since. |
