| New here. Hello! I'm new here and just wanted to say hi. I will be bringing my puppy home next week. I'm now in the process of puppy proofing my home and getting together everything he will need. I grew up with yorkie's but have had one since I was young...I'm almost 42 now. I can't wait. I worry about everything and am a bit obsessed with the entire process...hope he gets along with the cat, will I need to tape his ears, will he end up being the right size for me (I plan on traveling with him and having with me most of the time). I've made his appointment for the vet already and have decided to have him fixed and a microchip placed when he's old enough. This forum helps! Lots of info here!!! I just wish I could take my thoughts down a notch. I decided to name him Henry. He looks like a Henry...All serious and British lol. |

Yorkie Yakker | Hi Henry I too have had yorkies since I was young and have had nothing but joy from my little Hazel Nut! She is a little ray of sunshine in my quiet house. My sons are both grown and living on their own now. I was feeling a little blue, until I got her 2 years ago. This was by far one of the best choices I have ever made. I hope you and Henry will be just as happy! Best of luck, Angel |

| Welcome and congrats on the new puppy!! I am fairly neurotic, obsessive and very protective when it comes to my boys!! I often think to myself..."If I am this way with my dogs, how would I have ever survived having kids??" I think you'll find lots of us are over the moon when it comes our yorkies, so I am sure you will fit right in |

| I love the name Henry, and wow, he is beautiful. I hope you give us lots more pics of your boy once you get him and after! Congrats. Yorkies have to be the most fun breed to have at your side.

| Welcome to YT! Henry looks soooo adorable. I'm sure that with all that you are cautious with, Henry will do just fine. I know when I got my Bailey home (2yo in Jan.) the most thing I concerned myself about was him not jumping off of the couch and bed, so I was VERY careful and mindful where he was at all times. These little ones are soooo precious. I'm sure that you will make a good momma!! |
