Growing out hair on the Bridge of the Nose.. Well I used to always cut the hair in the corner of Oscar's eyes since he was a pup cause I could not stand the in between stage where it was always in his eyes.. Well this time I resisted the urge to cut it and I am so HAPPY I did.. It is still got a a ways to go but at least now it is long enough so that while I am combing it to train to it to lay flat it will actually stay down for awhile.. I think it just makes him look that much cuter, it that's possible.

I'm in the process of doing the same thing with my boy's hair--the awkward phase is difficult, but it's beginning to pay off. I hope Keegan ends up with his hair laying as nicely as Oscar's.

Wanda I'm torturing myself going through the same thing with Teegy and Tufty, they look like messy faced monkeys right now while it's growing. Give Oscar a big cuddle from us. | |

Thank you .. It is frustrating but it gets better when the hair grows out enough to to lay down.

Oh...if Oscar gets any cuter, it will be cuteness overload!! LOL!! Ricky's foster mom tried to clean Ricky up for me before I picked him up and in the process, she cut off his bangs and facial hair. I have been trying to grow it out now since May. His bangs don't fit in his pony tail, but I can clip it back...and pretty much immediately, he starts rubbing his face to try to get it out. The hair underneath his eyes and on the bridge of his nose is horrible too. He licks it back and it sticks right up into his eyes. I started taking a baby toothbrush with some water on it, and I would brush it down. I've been doing this about once a day and it's starting to train it. I only hope that this awkward phase ends soon. Ricky has constantly got hair in his eyes...and despite me trying to keep it out of there, he just messes it up until it's back in his eyes again Sometimes I wonder how he can see, because I surely can't see his eyeballs!!
