| yeah honestly i would slowly transition him to a higher quality food. mine eat bil jac it was the only food i could get them to eat everyday and i still have to mix in veggies or soft food to mix it up as they get very bored.

| For the first few days keep him on the purina let him adjust to his new home, then slowly add the puppy kibble you like. My boys started on purina I hated it. They now eat blue buffalo freedom puppy. (Grain free) |

| Welcome to YT You will find everyone here passionate about YTer's and most willing to share their experiences. Recently I started my Bailey on BB and he really loves it. I love the fact that it doesn't have any corn filler and is a really good quality food. Have fun with your furrball What is his name?? Cheers! |

| I agree. I would start off about a week or two after your new pup settles. This will give you plenty of time to research. Beware it may be a trial and error situation. Honestly anything would probably be better than Purina. Then start using new food as treats. Then take the 1st step everyv2 tob3 days by taking old and putting in new. I would say about a tablespoon each time. It should take at least a week amd a half for the process. If diarrhea happens. Just get some canned all natural pumpkin and feed a half a spoonful of that. Dont give up and thanks for wanting the best for your new baby. Congrats!
