				 | anybody else have a fluffy yorkie? My little Lennie is full pedigree and is 7 months old. My mother in law has two yorkies who both look very similar, they both are quite dainty with pointy snouts and perky small ears. My lennie however is very fluffy with big ears. and a wider snout. ive never seen a yorkie like him.

				 | My last Yorkie Candi was similar, she had a very thick and fluffy coat that stayed black and she was like that until she died at age 13 years old. Here's a pic... |

				 | I see a cotton coat too. Cotton coat are nice, soft and furry, whereas silk coats are more like hair. Cotton coats tend to mat more, especially under the arms when wearing a harness. Most people chose to keep their cotton coated pups with shorter haircuts and opposed to a full length coat. Our Lucy, when she was alive, had a cotton coat, and I use to love to pet her because she was so soft. I think cotton pups tend to keep a more youthful appearance. Blue and gold coated pups can have cotton as well. Also, I think Lennie's ears look bigger because his ear hair hasn't been cut. He is absolutely adorable!

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | He is soooo cute! I just love those type of ears on a yorkie. Jasper has thinner hair and it is super soft. I love to be constantly rubbing it...gets on his nerves though. I love how the cotton coat is so thick on your baby. Yep...I have yet to see an ugly Yorkie!!

				 | Floppy ears Piper's ears are floppy most of the time. She can hold them up but I think they add so much personality to your pup. Your pup is precious. |

				 | Technically it's called a Soft Coat. I think the name fits too!! It's so soft, fluffy, and can grow as long as regular coats, but I feel like it gets tangled so much easier. I keep my fully, cottony, soft coated Yorkie in a short hair cut.
