I see a cotton coat too. Cotton coat are nice, soft and furry, whereas silk coats are more like hair. Cotton coats tend to mat more, especially under the arms when wearing a harness. Most people chose to keep their cotton coated pups with shorter haircuts and opposed to a full length coat. Our Lucy, when she was alive, had a cotton coat, and I use to love to pet her because she was so soft. I think cotton pups tend to keep a more youthful appearance. Blue and gold coated pups can have cotton as well. Also, I think Lennie's ears look bigger because his ear hair hasn't been cut. He is absolutely adorable!
