| Elastic or breakaway collars? I need to get Lola a collar and I'm afraid of her hanging herself because of the spots she gets into. I want to get her a cat collar but I'm not sure which is better, the kind with elastic or the kind with a breakaway clasp. I'm leaning towards the elastic kind, here's an example https://www.mafpettags.com/products.php?cat=303 |

| I just leave Callie's collar where it is big enough for her to slip her head out of if she where to get stuck.

| I personally got the breakaway clap. Not in particular over another. Its just what was being sold. Test it. Seriously. With your hand and see if your satisfied with its function.

| I got the elastic because my plastic break away broke too easily from me taking it on and off during bath time. No problem with elastic breaking and just slips off if pulled on. |
