I feel your pain! Tatiana came into heat a little over a week ago! I was trying to wait to get her spay until she as a little bigger. The first week of spotting was the worse, so far. The panties wouldn't stay on her because they were too big, so I just would wash and clean a lot. I am lucky to live in the country and Tatiana is pad trained. When she does go outside, she is always with me!

Enjoy your Halloween....just be extra cautious!

I'm surprised about your concern. I guess yorkies can be different. My girls would go into heat but it really wasn't such a big deal. They spotted some but nothing dramatic and actually were receptive to males for about 4 days. All this was evident to me as we also have resident boy dogs who were very interested for those 4 days and then lost all interest as the fun was all over (as far as they were concerned). Your pup may just be fine for Halloween as it is a week away. Be of good cheer
