| Pork is not toxic and is acceptable when fed correctly. In fact, any yorkie here who has had a dog food with an unnamed meat source has likely eaten it. Ham and bacon are bad. Lean pork in and of itself is not. It can be used in homecooked diets just like most other meats. The key is to know exactly what you are doing (supervision by a veterinary nutritionist). I'd put a stop to all feeding from the table because people don't know what they are doing, generally. If it is your pup then your rules go.

| The meats aren't that bad. If they are boiled no spice. But from the "human" plate with all the spices is what bad. Beef ,Chicken , fish whatever. It depends on the dog. also. Some like Moki have a steel stomach. Some are really sensitive. |
