| YT 1000 Club Member | Once she's completed her vacs and you can take her out I would take her on walks everyday weather permitting . Alot of ppl think because yorkies are so small they dont need much exercise but they do. A mile can tire them out and when you get home off to crate for a nap/snack and you'll be able to complete errands/housework/you time without interruptions. I would also get her used to her harness/leash at least a week before starting walks. Socialization is very important but I wouldn't "force" her into anything. Every pup is an individual like people and not all pups like everyone or like to be petted/handled by ppl other than their family. |
