| I don't want to be mean or anything but why would somebody start a thread like this. If you don't believe something somebody says don't listen, why would you want to start a conflict. We are adults and know that if a person is lying you don't listen to them instead you just move along!!! I really hope I don't get bashed for posting this but I hate to see tension on a board over nothing..... Would like to remind all that we are adults and not kids here!!! |

| I agree. I came here to get help, advise and to hear about other yorkies. I don't enjoy seeing threads of anger over something so small and pety. Why not just ignore the things that irk you?

| It's in no way you. And I really hate seeing these posts from people who have small dogs who may feel they have to be on the defensive. All dogs are special, loved, and needed. Its a controversial subject for sure but this post really needs a THE END to it.

| 2 1/2 pounds is a little more beleivable than 13 ounces. I HAVE seen a 2 1/2 pounder but call B******* on 13 ounces. And SSAW--I am not jealous. Just don't beleive 13 ounces and if you think about it--you won't either. Like I said--no one in the "established" yorkishire world with HALF a brain will. It's just shows ignorance to post it. Just one pet peeve of mine. =) |

| I always ignore this crap!just had a crappy day and took it out in the wrong place. AND yes small things get to me on days like this. That post just happened to be one of them. I love a small dog and see NO problem with owning them. I actually would rather my dogs remain under standard than be huge, coming from the toy group. I will always love them ALL small or huge. My dog is 4 pounds and 4 ounces at one year. She was not the runt, she had a smaller sister. Her features were stronger though so I chose her. Anyhow, nothing against owning a small dog, I just took it upon myself to call out a lie. This really is a wonderful board. =) |

| my dog is only 13 ounces lmao....... + 8 lbs baing human is to overexaggerate, i should know my family invented the term , we all have our bad days, but lets not forget that we all exaggerate too, it seems that this one was just a little less likely than most peple would want to believe......Okay, so abck to the thirteen ounces, she could have maybe put it in the drier to shrink it a little bit ....... oh, or maybe it has the growth inhibitor gene like that black guy that has to look like a kid forever |

| Well thats a releif because when I saw this post I wondered if telling people how much Lady weighed was a problem? lol.I didnt know she would be as small as she is,infact, she was on high calorie food up until a couple of weeks ago to see if she could gain a little weight, which she did,but only 4oz..so Its not that Iv starved her into weiging 2lbs or that im lying about her weight. I know weight can be an issue for some people,I have had alot of people e-mail me asking me why I bought a small yorkie, and that its cruel to buy these so called t-cups..but the truth is,I was never told that Lady was a t-cup and although I DID search for a smaller yorkie,I never thought she would end up weighing what she does..so I dont see the point to some of those comments.I doubt Lady will be growing any more at 15 months old,so I guess she has reached her adult weight and I have to accept that she is just small.I dont know why this thread was started..I cant see anyone who has posted about a 13oz yorkie so Im confused about the whole thing Im glad it it wasnt because of me though! I was worried for a moment! lol. |

| I do apologize to the whole board I really did not mean to start anything, I have just been real stressed lately. I have been visiting a little puppy since she has been 3 weeks old. I chose her because she was the smallest, however I believe she has hydrocephalus, which is breaking my heart! She has some classic symptoms, large head and eyes that point out toward her ears (sort of the opposite of cross-eyed). She has not had seizures and is otherwise growing normally. Week after week the breeder has assured me that she is just slow and needs to grow into her head. I visited with her yesterday, and if there was any improvement in her eyes, it was difficult to see. She will be 2 months old this Thursday. Now I realize that it should be an easy decision, “Don’t take her!” However what becomes of her if I don’t? I would love to believe that her eyes are just weak and in time will develop normally, but it is difficult. Before I discovered this site, I thought there is no-one that loves and cares for these little one’s like I do. I see how wrong this was reading all the posts from all you like minded people. I really just don’t know what to do. If my diagnosis is correct she could possible live 2 years, and if the breeder is correct she may straighten out in time. Without explaining all, just understand that my life has been a living hell since Oct 6, and shows no sign of abating! So please try to understand that I have been between a rock and a very hard place for a long time and every bright light fades! |

| We've all had days (weeks, months, years! ) like that, I'm sure that everyone here is willing to forgive and forget, this is a great bunch and I can't see anyone holding a grudge after you have explained yourself so well.Try to take care of yourself and good luck with that puppy. You'll do what you feel is right

| For me a Yorkie is a yorkie , no matter the weight , I am always glad when I see one . The most important for me is the love , attention and wonderful cares we give to them . |
