| Just bought a wire training for Jackson last night. It's a small up to 25 pounds. He sleeps in it also, and if he doesn't potty outside then I put him it and take him back out later. Unfortunately it's a one door. Wish I wasn't such a tight wad, I would have gotten the two door crate. Jackson is about 7 pounds maybe a little more. |

| I bought a 2 door 24"x18"x21" crate for Piper for $29 and it came with a divider so I basically made my own puppy apartment. I had hubby cut a door in the divider, so her home is separated from her potty She has yet to use the potty part of it but I'm sure she will once the snow flies here. She is a year old and finally weighs 3 lbs. |

| Gina has 2 crates, 1, an extra small, up to 15lb dogs, stays in our bedroom, except for when we go anywhere in the truck, then it's buckled in in the back seat with the side door able to be opened between the seats. The other crate is a small, up to 25lb dog, that is attached to her playpen, which is 8 24"x24" panels. Both crates have 2 doors, and a divider that came with them, I don't use the dividers though. I also just bought 2 small bowls that attach to the crates, I got them in the bird section, they are just the right size for some food and water at night. Cheers Quad

| Both of my dogs fit together in the x-small crate. They have enough room for both to sprawl out |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I have the Midwest double door. It is the 18" L X 12" W X 14" H for Pets 1-6 lbs crate. I love it. It even came with a divider. And petco actually was the cheapest for it. And they are made well. Midwest iCrate Single Door Folding Dog Crates - Midwest Dog Crates and Dog Crate from petco.com

| The size of the crate depends on what you are using it for. If it is for potty training then a small one will do. You have to be right there to take the pup out often. Puppies potty often and if you want to teach it not to potty in the crate then you have to be near by at all times to take the pup out when needed. If the crate is just for travel then enough room is needed to stand and turn around. Considering the size of the pup at maturity will save you from having to get another one later on. If you need a crate to leave your pup in while you are gone for several hours then you need one large enough for a bed, dishes, and a potty area. Many people here use that type of crate or playpen and it is a very humane way of keeping your puppy out of trouble when you can't watch it. |
