| Over the counter meds??? I think Rocky is having gas pains from just the way he is acting. I just got out of the hospital and can't take him in to the vets and I was wondering if someone knows what I could give him. I know it would have to be a children's dosage. He is panting so I know his little tummy is hurting and he is so little I am afraid to give him just anything. Help!!! |

| This could be something serious...I would not recommend over the counter meds for a pup with stomach discomfort. I am sorry you are not well. Maybe a friend or family member can get him to a vet to be seen?

| I always take mine to the vet for everything but everyone I know works and my husband gets home later than the vet is open. I heard him pass some gas and thats why I thought he might could just take a children's dosage of something because gas pains hurt. He is such a baby anyway. lol!! Thanks for your input. |

| My Rainbow Bridge baby, Ashley, had gas pockets from taking in too much air into her belly because of her trachea. Please get well, Sandy. I know you will take care of your baby. In addition to prescription from her vet, she also took baby Gas-X drops.

| Yeah, I have used baby mylicon...but just concerned about the panting. Pancreatitis is always a concern when they have pain in their tummies. Hope you and she are both better in the morning!

| Yes, I know too well about the pancreatis with one that had diabetes. Believe me we are really careful when it comes to our babies. But, guess what???? My husband brought home some plain fat free yogart for him and I gave him some Blue Buffalo (canned) chicken and he scorfed it down. He is now running and playing. False alarm, thank you Lord. I thought also that Dudley may have jumped on him about something. They think all the toys and everything belongs to them. Don't know. BUt he is not panting now. He could have been burnt out on his ole food and had alittle bit of gas. I'm just an over protective mom, what can I say. I will have to get some of the baby drops and keep them on hand. Thanks for the info concerning the CT LIsa. I will have to keep that in mind with Kayla. |
