| Mommy's baby? My little one keeps a close eye on me, she watches my every move, today we went to the mall and my hubby was carrying her in her carrier but she kept turning her head to see where i was, she will sit and lay on the couche with him but prefers to be with me, she wants me to pick her up all the time also wen im busy around the house, i dont get much done around the house while shes awake, wen she sleeps i quickly do the things i have to but its hard to pick her up while im cooking its not an issue that bothers me, im rather proud as punch coz shes real close to me, she gets mad at my hubby wen he puts on her pjamas, she wants me to do everything! i feel quite bad at times coz hes such a proud daddy and wants to please her all the time, will this get better or worse as she grows older? shes 14 weeks now and such a girlie girl

| Oh that is so cute. We have the same problem. Meeko is so attached to me, but does not demonstrate as much enthusiasm towards my husband. My hubby tries to participate in most activities, but Meeko rather be with me. Meeko is now 8 months and has not changed. My hubby has tried to be close to him since day "1", but no luck. That special bond or "chemistry" is not shared by all members of the family. My hubby has not given up on Meeko, but he does not allow his feelings to get hurt. Good Luck and greeting from the heart of Texas!!!!

| toby is the same way, from day one he has been glued to me, and just sort of tolerates my fiance if im not available for him to be with .... my fiance is also a very proud daddy, and it sorta hurt his feelings at first that his boy was mommy's only, but now he has sorta come to terms with the fact that this is the way it is. When my fiance leaves teh house toby couldnt care less, but when I leave he is whineing for a LONG time, and barking and crieing SO LOUD. . . . since the first day we got him, (i took him to my parents house) and he wouldnt let me out of his sight.... |

| Snoodles certainly prefers me to his daddy! But he will take her for walks, and she will sleep in his lap if i am busy. She also whines and barks and generally yells until I come back, and doesn't carry on like that when he leaves. I think it is because, I am the one who bathes her, combs her, feeds her, etc. So, it's their on=wn fault! Ha! |

| My Shelbie was like that too, she would follow me to every room even if I thought she was sound asleep, she would hear me and get up to follow me in the kitchen or even to the bathroom and sit at my feet while I did my business. She was so special. I think Yorkies bond with their people so well. |
