| My dad used to hunt mountain lions for bounty when I was growing up. They would be destroying livestock so the ranchers put a bounty on them. I honestly don't think they are afraid of anything. Maybe gunfire or something equally as loud but just screaming or throwing things at them I think would just entice them.
