So my baby girl is almost 6 months old and its time for her first grooming since picking her up from the breeder. I think I've found a place to take her, I just dont know how to explain how I'd like her cut. I know I want her to wear a top knot...and to have a sanitary cut but I don't know about the rest of her. How are most yorkie puppies cut, other than shaving?

I would go online and look at pictures. When you find a picture you like print it out and give it to the groomer, this will make sure you are both on the same page

I agree look at a lot of pictures and print one out. By showing the groomer a picture you are sure to get the cut you want. I'm not much help on what cut to get because I cut my Chloe myself. I leave her hair long. I only trim her up her ears and trim around her paw pads and feet. I also do the sanitary cut on her. I'm sure whatever cut you decide to get she will look gorgeous!
