Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest things and the days ahead will be tough. If her time is up and she is leaving us, remember this: she is loved and she knows it, she had a wonderful life with you and will be leaving this world in your loving arms. You have given Maggie a full life with everything she ever needed or wanted. She loves you and you love her, cherish everyday she is still with you.

My daughter has this on her notebook and when I saw it I remembered your post about Maggie. I can't read it without crying, but I hope that it can help. Unfortunately I don't know who the author is.

OMGosh, Pink that poem is absolutely beautiful!! Thank you so much for sharing! It brought tears to my eyes remembering our beloved Angel who passed in February of this year.

Praying for Maggie, you and your husband. We are privileged to have our dear beloved pets for a short time and it breaks our hearts when they are called home. Treasure your time with her. I believe with all my heart one day we will all be reunited one day.

Having a pet for 12 years is a long time of laughter, love and even tears. I just recently had to put down my Simba of 17+ years. Kidney failure. Happened unexpectedly and I was not ready at all for that. But, like you I loved him with all my heart and cried many many tears and on occasion still cry. But, the main thing is the memories we've had with them here on earth. The pain will pass and the beauty of having her in your lives will remain forever in your memory. I don't know about other people but I truly believe that they do go to heaven and I choose to believe that I will see them again some day.

You and your sweet baby will be in our prayers.
