It's because in order to run any type of website, it costs money. Those pop up adds probably bring in some revenue for upkeep of this site. As a "donating member", they've helped with the cost so I'm assuming that's why they're exempt from those pop up ads. If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Here's what works: ADBLOCK PLUS It's free & you won't get pop ups anywhere!!! https://adblockplus.org/en/firefox That link is for Firefox, but Adblock has versions for whatever browser you are using.

I have norton and I get these pop ups all the time on here. I tried to download the cleaner and iPad safari will not download the program.
