| Bark box experience Hello guys its me again and this time I wanted to see if anyone out there has ordered the famous bark box. For those of you that don't know bark box is a box you can order online and you can only order it once a month for $29.99 and it comes with a bunch of dog stuff and they will customize the things in your box to fit your dogs needs. I tried it ........ And here's what I thought Total rip off I ordered my box and chose to buy one for small breed (for my yorkie) and I got the app and it said I would get 10 things on my box and when the box came in I only received 6. I emailed their headquarters to ask for the rest of the stuff and they told me that the app will show me 10 things which I might get but I wouldn't get 10. They told me they're trying to fix those things that make people have misunderstandings because clearly said THINGS YOU ARE RECEIVING IN THIS MONTHS BARK BOX so I feel like that "mistake" was on purpose. Other thing is that In the app it showed me a box of dog smoothies and when I opened the box it was only one sample (one small cup) of smoothie. I was like wtf?! That's it! Then why did they place a picture with the box of six smoothies they should've just placed a picture of one cup. Long story short the toy was a cheap toy I even found at the cvs for $5 and the treats were supposed to be high quality treats which they were not and my boaton did not eat so theu really have to be bas for him not to eat it because he eats everything. I think the box is just filled with crappy samples of things stores don't sell. If you would add up everything that was in my box it would come up to be $20 or less not 29.99. I thought of posting this here because I saw a lot of reviews they would send me about people like their bark box so I feel like maybe it's just me so I want to see if others had a similar experience. |

| I have been getting the bark boxes for about two years and I think you are VERY wrong. The treats are high end go research them and you will see my very picky girl has loved just about every treat we have gotten so far. I also highly doubt the toy you got was at cvs it might have looked similar but not the same toy. All there stuff they get is made in the US and sadly stuff made in the US also costs more. The cost also includes shipping as well as 10 percent of the proceeds go to animal charitys. I am sorry you where unhappy with your box. I have been happy with mine! I am glad the smoothies were just samples because it lets me know if my dog likes them or not. Everything I have gotten has been high quality. A+++++ for barkbox from me!

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I looked at doing this, but haven't yet. I am confused about the price though. The OP said $29.99, but this site says $18.00 and reviews each months deliveries. August Barkbox Review | Ramblings of a Suburban Mom If it's $18, it might be worth it. For $30, IMO, no. I'd rather choose my treats and donate directly to my local shelter. I would be annoyed I was told I was getting a certain thing or number of things and instead something else or a lesser quantity came.

| Yes, I'm getting BarkBox--ordered it through a Groupon and won't be reordering it. We've received two boxes so far and they haven't been a good use of funds for us. My dog has loved the toys, but each toy has lasted just a few hours. Some of the treats have peanut butter in them and my son is allergic to nuts, so those treats are automatically out for us. Toby has turned his nose up at everything else I've offered him from the box. Had I bought those treats from the pet store I would be able to get my money back--not so from BarkBox. Basically that leaves me with a few hours of toy time. Definitely not a good use of my money! I know others love BarkBox, but it doesn't work for us.

Cool so it's not just me. I felt the same way only a few hours of play with the toys if you get lucky to receive a toy. I received this toy the brand is sprong I just opened it and my yorkie destroyed in less than an hour. And by the way that same toy I found it at cvs and the same brand. So yeah it seemed like a waste of money but I wrote headquarters commenting about that and they gave me two free bark boxes so that was good.

You might have been in a site where they will give you a coupon to take some dollars off your first purchase. My friend got a $10 coupon too.

| It was just my opinion she is wrong I said I think she is very wrong. I have looked up every treat Callie has gotten and every one of them is high quality so I know for a fact she is wrong about that.

| Ok. so it's your opinion that she is wrong. No worries. People may have different opinions about what is a high quality treat. At the end of the day it doesn't matter. I think she just wanted to discus her own experience.

| I know that's what I thought too but I received the box saw the toy and then I went to my corner cvs store and there it was same toy same brand on sale. It's not like I'm trying to tell people to never get a bark box I'm just reviewing my first bark box I had and what I thought about maybe your bark box was different they all come different. |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Grouper does a special for Barkboxes every few months. Some people like the stuff and some don't. OP I am sorry you had a bad experience.

| Yeah but cool thing is that they understood and they gave me 2 bark boxes for free so they were at least nice about it. I did like my third box that came in with cute looking dolphin toy. I will write a review on that one later. |
