| about brushing teeth let try this again I hope it will let me post it again. will we are having problems getting fancy to let us brush her teeth now. we have tried the chews and sometime she would play with them or eat them. lot of the time she don't do anything with them. she use to let us brush them. but I did try to put her pill in the toothpaste and got her to take it that way. but I am not to sure if that the reason or not. but it was kind of hard to get her to let us brush the inside but she would let us to the outside some. so how do u get ur little one to let u brush there teeth. what do u do to keep them clean if u don't brush them.... |

| Mine don't like their teeth brushed but will let me do it. I got small toothbrushes from the dollar store that work really well. I make them sit then you can hold their heads and just quickly brush their teeth. If they get really squirmy you could wrap them in a towel like a little yorkie burrito- then give her a treat after so she's doesn't think she was in trouble- good luck!

| How old is she & has she ever had dental cleaning? I ask bc sometimes if they have a bad tooth, they won't let you go near their mouth. You can try wrapping a baby terry cloth or gauze around your finger, apply some doggy toothpaste on it & rub it around her mouth. Get her used to that every night & work up to using a toothbrush. They also have those dental cleaning pads.

| I find it easier to brush my pup's teeth by lifting a lip up on the side rather than by getting her to open her mouth and let me stick the brush in.
