| Grooming I FINALLY set up an appointment to get my little girl groomed. She is now 9 months old. I am soooooooo super nervous about this! She is getting groomed Thursday morning at a groomer called Paws and Claws in my town. Hopefully they do a nice job . I dont even know what I want. I am not sure I will have a choice. Her hair is long and has so many knots I dont know if they will be able to get them out! I really dont want the shaved look though . So incredibly nervous .

| Just from personal experience, ask what exactly they trim or cut. Billi went to have a "puppy's first groom" which is basically a bath and nail trim- Well, they decided to shave her nose and not tell me. She looked adorable, but now the poor thing has little hairs poking her in her eyes and I have to chase her to push them out of the way all the time. I never knew or thought to ask, but you have to be really specific. Post pix of your baby when she's done. She's going to look so cute!

| If you do have to have her trimmed short, maybe they can at least leave her in a puppy cut for you...or maybe they could just shave her belly, armpits and bum and leave the rest longer for ya. |

Oh, also check with the vet, because they usually want you to wait a certain length of time after a spay (a few weeks?) before you get a grooming. | |

| You should look at hairstyles and decide what you like, then take a picture to show the groomer.
