| Skeeter and the orb I posted this on Facebook a while back and thought it might be of interest to y'all. After Cassie died Skeeter and Adie both grieved a lot. The spent a lot of time in Cassie's bed. Skeeter looked so sad one day I decided to take a photo and I captured and orb. I feel very strongly that it is Cassie still keeping an eye on her boy. |

| I just made a video of Bentley and an orb appeared and flew away. I google a bit and there could be a lot of explanations for an orb, like dust or a bug flying... *shrugs*. I wonder if theyre really spirits :-/

| There is always the "swamp gas" theory....or refracted light through a prism someplace....I will go with the theory that has always proved to work well for me....I like the "spirit" theory and I believe it IS Cassie, watching over her little boy.....I love catching orbs in pics! |

2+2=4 X the Love ♥ Donating Member | I like to think that they are spirit of our loved one or of those who have passed. Some who are lost and some who just stay around and watch over us. I have several photos with orbs in them that cant be explained.

| I've talked about orbs in the house before. When we first moved in we had several show up in photos. We also had 3am barking by the dogs. When the cat joined us she started staring at nothing right along with Skeeter and Adie. This all stopped over a year ago and I found out that the last owner of the house died. She was in a nursing home and her husband had died a few years before her. I am sure that it was him looking for her or waiting or for her or something. Anyway we had over a year of orb free photos (and I take a LOT of photos) and then this. So do I think it is Cassie? Like I said I think it is her energy. Energy never goes away, it simply changes form and perhaps that is all there is to ghosts. Skeeter isn't reacting to it in the photo but then no one does in any of the photos. I'd like to think that Cassie hung around for a while then went to Rainbow Bridge to wait for the rest of us. |

| That is a precious sweet picture. I know it was Cassie looking down on her boy too! I hope Skeeter's doing a little better now?

| Skeeter and Adie have both changed. Cassie used to wash Skeeter's face and mother him to death. He would let anyone bully him around but she was his guardian and wouldn't let the others bother him. So now he gets bullied by Gracie in particular. He never wanted to be up on the couch before Cassie died - he preferred to be with her on the floor. (She couldn't see anymore.) Now he has started begging me to pick him up so he can cuddle. Adie has become the head honcho and is quick to let anyone know it if they step out of line. She always helped Cassie get outside and would worry over her if she didn't get to the door quickly. She grieved like Skeeter but more so. She started going off by herself and wouldn't even sleep in the same room with the rest of us. She acted like she was mad at everybody. She has since started sleeping in Cassie's bed at night and sometimes during the night she will end up snuggled up against my back. Of course Cassie had stopped sleeping in the bed with the rest of us too so I guess Adie has just decided that she will follow Cassie's example. Adie has also stopped acting like she is mad and she is almost back to the way she was before with the exception of her leadership duties. |
