| questions about weight Hi all, Just looking for some advice regarding weight in Yorkies. My little lady is 12 months on the 26th August. Daisy currently weighs 2.5lbs and I'm just looking for some advice re how much bigger she is likely to get before she stops growing? |

| i wouldn't think she'd get much bigger since she's a year old.the standard weight for yorkies is under 7pounds.but my fella is only 6mnths and already weighs 12 pounds.not fat just big |

| I'm sure she's done growing. She may fill out a little more, gain a few ounces, but I don't think she's going to get much bigger! Mine has been 2.7 to 2.8 for the last 3 months, and she's 1 yr. 2 mo. old.

| I agree that she will likely fill out a little, gain muscle in her second year, but she is probably finished growing overall.
