Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Can Yorkies eat Cornflakes safely? Crystal eat one of mine this morning and is absolutely 'on fire' for more, are they safe in very small lots, say one or two as a treat? |

| I would say yes. I give mine dry cereal treats all the time & they've never gotten sick. We use Cheerios for training. I would just stay away from anything coated with sugar. Little Crystal is so cute!!

| If your baby has no allergies to grains, corn flakes will be fine for her....I use Cheerios and Honeycombs....the sugar coated ones, given sparingly, are a great source of sugar for any of the yorkies that suffer with hypoglycemia....they love the cereal treats, they are easy to give, and they will prevent that drop in blood sugar following activity in young pups! |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Crystal is a darling. To be safe from allergies, I would try to keep her to only her main food and then introduce a single new food as a treat, use this for a week or more to make sure she doesn't show any signs of itching before marking that off as a food she can eat. Allergies can be heartbreaking for these little ones and if you don't limit and test out foods it can be really hard to identify the culprits. Give her some cornflakes for a while and if she doesn't itch then you know they are safe for her.

| Haha! Looks like she's saying 'Where's that bowl, Dad?' I use Cheerios, plain corn flakes, Golden Crisp, Nilla Waffers etc. No milk, it can cause diarrhea...

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | She actually had a little puppy whine at me for another one, so I broke off a corner of a large flake, which disappeared pronto. She then issued a number of little barks of frustration accompanied by her most beautiful pleading face! Helpless I gave in, guess thats why I'm so popular round here? |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Crystal is so cute and I love that she has her tail. Jasper has been getting plain Cheerios for treats. Last night I gave him a few of the Peanut Butter Cheerios...he went nuts. Ever time I ate one he tried to take it from me. Guess he isn't going to be good on sharing.

| Oh, how can you resist that beautiful face? You need to give her a few more, I don't think they are bad for her at all. She will be your breakfast buddy for life

| Crystal is so pretty! My boys like animal crackers for treats. We break them in half. I feel safer sometimes giving them people food.
