YT 1000 Club Member | Hello and welcome! Anything under 7 pounds is considered "standard" yorkie here in the states...no such thing as a "teacup" it's still a yorkie just a very small one(for those who use the term I'm guessing). How old is Buddy? There is a "teapot"'club on this forum for "out of standard size" yorkies(over 7 lbs). |

| Not teacups, just standard size my boys are 4 lbs and the other 3.5 lbs at 5 months. The standard is for dogs under 7 lbs. those bigger are just not standard weight but still yorkies. |

| Teacup was word made up by bad breeders and puppy mills to jack up there prices of pups there is no such thing. The standard it not to exceed 7 pounds so any weight 7 pounds and under is just standard.
