				   |      we are his third owners even though he is only 6mnths the first owner was in awheelchair and couldnt handle him and the second owner was elderly and coulnt care for him properly (no garden or dog experience) so we took him and she said he was a mutt i see a tiny bit of a scottie am i right?    he weighs just under 5kg (11 pounds) Last edited by buddytheyorkie; 08-03-2013 at 06:29 AM.  |

				   |      He sure looks Yorkie!  If you're really curious, you can get one of those DNA test kits at PetSmart for $50 to $75 depending on whether they're on sale.  No blood is taken -- just a cheek swab.  I did it on my rescue Yorkie, and he turned out to be purebred.  The paperwork you get back is pretty informative, but I also talked to the lab that did the test.  The Tech there said it one of the cleanest Yorkie screens she'd seen.  Even if he's not 100% Yorkie, he's 100% CUTE!     |

				   |      There are dna tests that will tell you what ancestry your dog is. I know of the Mars test and here is one I found on Amazon. They are reasonably priced and if you really want to know, this is the way.
