Zoey is same way , isn't it hilarious?! To point of maddening!
My baby does this is bed with me when we first go . I liked to never figure out our light vs door shadow problems!lol!
She also barks at our reflection in the windows when we watch tv. We're still working on that. No curtains.

That's my Fletch! He hates when someone tries to kill a bug. He will slink off tail between legs and hide under our bed. If you slap at a mosquito on yourself or high five with someone he slinks off and hides. He hates slapping of any kind. (you'd think he was beaten or something!)

This is what I say... Fletch is afraid of everything but other Dogs. Dex is afraid of nothing but other dogs! LOL They are SO opposite.

So Fletch is afraid of my husband changing into PJs at night. He HATES it and will get onto my lap or under the bed, anything to get as far away as he can from watching DH change! LOL

He's afraid of the popping of the wood in the fireplace. He's terrified of the vacuum. Dexter attacks it like he's going to kill it! I have to be quick when vacuuming around Dex, he goes after it and will keep going after it, growling and biting it! LOL Fletch is afraid of any sudden sound or movement. Dex is so chill, nothing phases him at all, Fletch is always on alert, jumpy and skittish!

Just saw this article and thought, "So maybe that's why my male yorkie was afraid of smoke having never smelled it before nor heard a smoke detector."
