Maggie is afraid of thunder, fireworks and big dogs, especially black ones. The big, black dog is understandable as she was scratched by one, to the point that her tummy was bleeding, more like a wound than a scratch. Maggie tends to be afraid of strange places to the point that she won't go down an unfamiliar street or if she goes to a new park, she wants to be carried for a while. She is also afraid of dog parks. Buster is somewhat afraid of thunder but not like Maggie. |

Harry KNOWS!!!! He can handle fireworks, thunderstorms, sheds-being-blown-away......everything aaargh! What he can't handle is one of us 'leaving'...my poor little teapot, shaky, scrummy baby boy!!!!! Love and a big hug Jeanie!!! Sally + Prince Harry xx |
All of the above with special mention for thunder and fly swatters |
Charlie doesn't like clown dolls. He barks at them and runs if you come after him with one. I found that out one day. Of coarse I don't chase him with it trying to scare him once I realized they scare him. |
Gina is not scared, more wary, of the 3 cats, she desperatly wants to play with them, but has been swiped a few times by them. The vacum cleaner, she was at first, but now she makes little charges and retreats from it over and over again. Thunder, but only if it's right over the house, otherwise she looks at the where the nise comes from, then ignores it. Other than that, she has no fear, and that scares me sometimes. Cheers Quad & Gina:aimeeyork |
HAWKS !!! Is now always on the look put for them. BUT.... When she sees one she starts to growl and tried to go after it where ever it is flying. Not too fond of fireworks, but can eventually go on to sleep. |
The only thing that really sets Cookie off is when my next door neighbor drives his motorcycle. I wouldn't say it scares her so much; more like the loud sound makes her angry. |
my little guy is very scared of ovens..if im cooking and da or something is baking he just shakes..he is also scared of trash bags and dark hallways |
Acorn is afraid of belts!! I think she thinks they're snakes...won't go near any!! Other than that, new people, people in general, and puppies freak her out! Also, cats! Bad experience with my sister's cat this past summer :-( |
The swiffer, boxes, balloons, and sprays (hair spray, air fresher, perfumes, etc.). He's completely fearless most of the time, loud noises don't even bother him. He did go through a phase where he didn't like thunder but it's since passed. Toss a balloon his way though.... |
Piper is terrified of the weather. She climbs inside of our open cabinet and hides behind the towels. Jilly is afraid of flies. She squeals and carries on. They both are afraid of an oddly placed stick in the yard or a weed that has grown up higher than the grass. |
Dooney hates the vacuum cleaner. |
Honey does not like sewer drains (I had to teach her to go around them), Clicking pens, door bells, or the vacuum. |
Yoshi is afraid of the blowdryer...so far thats the only thing she runs from immediatley |
Billi can't seem to handle any noise whatsoever... motorcycles down the street, lawnmowers in a neighbors yard, vacuums, even if the tv gets too loud she'll start to panic. Car trips freak her out, which bums me out, cuz I love to take her places. She's normally very outgoing, loves people and dogs and new places... but getting there? She's not a fan :( |
