Thunder, firecrackers, high pitched beep of fire/smoke detectors,.......and ME! when I stand over a small pile of poop in the middle of the room, no where NEAR a pee pad, and I say, "OK!!! YOU GOT MY ATTENTION!!! WHO POO-POOED ON THE FLOOR!!!"...everyone will sit there tight lipped, not saying a word and certainly not "telling"......but the guilty pup will quietly slink out of the room..... |

The Vacuum, broom, mop/swiffer, and just similar things. Other than that not much have't found much. I don't even know if it's the sound of the vacuum that even scares him because other loud noises doesn't get a rise out of him. And we've dealt with loads of different types of noises, from guns to thunder and fireworks. |
Joel used to be scared of small dogs but now he's gotten much better. He's pretty much just scared of fireworks or something that sounds like fireworks:) |
The hair dryer!!! |
Abby was afraid of the dishwasher when it would make random noises as the dishes/plastic containers would fall or clink. She has gotten used to it now. Ziva is afraid of nail clippers and the vet anywhere near her back end (he had to clean out a cyst) They are really quite brave little pups- being scared of thunder around here just wouldn't work! |

Razzle and Magic so far have only re-acted to my old washing machine, when it gets un-balanced and bounces across the floor with a loud noise, and a big thumping sound. They will both run down to the washer with me, I go to fix the problem, they go to bark and shake themselves silly at the problem. Thunderstorms no problem. But what makes them most upset is when Mommy is upset. If I argue with hubby (that is a big one), or when we had those torrential rains and the power was off, and hubby and I were working like maniacs trying to get water out of the basement, set up the generator et al. They wouldn't let me out of the house alone, and our backyard was awash in water, but that was where we had to put up the generator. Once we settled they settled down. |
So far he doesn't like to have his face blow dried but he is not afraid of it. He is is not afraid of the big dog or even the shop vac. I am so glad. But stay tuned. You never know |
The sound of a taser Bugzappers Washbasins filling with water Me with a hair brush :) |
Mina ,, any sudden noise, the smoke dector. I she is on leash or tethered in her stroller and a big dog puts its nose on her nose, she will snap at them. Oh ya and the vaccum cleaner. She will run to her couch in my bedroom and hide her face in the corner. |
Prissy is pretty laid back. Jasmine will not walk by the Dryer when it is on, she hates the sound. Maggie Mae's fear is rather different. If you put a box or something else in the floor that is not suppose to be there, she will go nuts growling and barking at it until it is removed. She is like this in the yard too. Last week we put a plastic bucket on a back patio and she went crazy barking and growling, shaking and pacing back and forth until we removed the bucket. Maggie is a funny little girl! |
Kaji is scared of everything, except for other dogs. He loves other doggies!! His biggest fear are people and that I will abandon him. My brothers tell me if I was to walk away from him (while leaving him with my siblings) Kaji will pace in the area and wait for me, as that was the last place he saw me. Even though he loves my siblings and parents, you can't get him to move without having to pick him up. |

Mandie doesn't like baths but I don't think she is scared of the water...maybe water on the face. What she is really scared of is something cooking in the oven. She hides, shakes some, breathes funny..it just freaks her out. Good thing I am not much of a cooker lol |
