| ![]() I have read that there are several things that you can give your yorkie for a treat. Are these things really acceptable? 1) Plain yogurt 2) Carrots 3) Celery 4) Cottage Cheese Also, are there any more suggestions? I want to give my puppy a variety! ![]() |

| ![]() Sure they are. You can feed her most any fruit or vegetable. Avoid the seeds in avocadoes and apples. Just remember that moderation is the key. Too many raw carrots and you might have an upset tummy. ![]()

| ![]() They all sound good to me. I am surprised, however, that your little guy will even eat celery. I'm sure it won't hurt your Yorkie - but (correct me if I'm wrong) --I don't think it has any nutritional value. This doesn't necessarily make it bad - and, in fact, it might be a fun thing for your dog to chew on. I've never had a dog that would eat celery ---they just turn up their noses and don't like it! I feed my Yorkie dry dog food and safe human food. No junk food - fried foods, a lot of fat, candy, cookies, -- stuff like that. He eats Iams, vegetables, chicken, meat, cheese, rice, eggs - and many other things. Good luck!!! Carol Jean |
