  Thanks for the reply,  Russkies are so funny to mimic. They speak phonetically in English, so you have 'Bay - kedd' beans. I crack up still. Last year after observing a News Paper headline, I was asked, 'what is it, this one Floooed. She meant flood of course. Perhaps the best was when she came here 12 years ago, acquainting herself with my flat she wanted to clean the floor. 'Do you keep any Scrubbers' in your flat? she requested, in slang terminology in the UK this means 'ladies of a loose nature' - she meant scrubbing brushes for the floor. it works both ways of course, and still to this day she falls about sometimes when I do the same thing in reverse!
