| Uuugggghhhh! Puppyfind! Well, sometimes I get on Puppyfind - not to buy a puppy but just to look at the cute pics of different breeds. Today, I looked at the yorkies. There was one "breeder" listing 3 young males & 1 yr old female for either $50 or $100 each. The pictures of the dogs were soooooo sad! Fur looked all matted, legs covered in mud. Somebody even left a 1 star review that the dogs looked horrible. I didn't do that. Instead, I sent a private message suggesting that the dogs be turned over to a rescue - since the money was so little anyway. The person wrote me back that she knows what she's doing, has been doing it for 20 years & that the rescues (I suggested a few) weren't any good. I'm not responding to the email. I touched a nerve obviously. I just feel so horribly for those dogs. I'm going to stay off Puppyfind - I can't stand to look at that car wreck again. |

I tried but couldn't copy the posting here. It may have been deleted by the breeder who listed it. She probably got A LOT of email about the condition of her dogs. Ironically, it was posted under the name "Mattie". Maybe the breeder will try again. Hope you find another baby to love soon. Last edited by luvlee; 07-27-2013 at 10:02 AM. | |

| Yes, that one posted. The breeder has both young males & a female. They look like they need a lot of love and a bath. Let us know if you decide to adopt. |

| $50 is a lot for me to pay, for anything. But the local Pound charges are pretty hi too. The Pound has "Grabbers" that show up every day, before us old guy's get up in the morning. Oh well, that's the way it works. |

| My the one older male looks so sad and so scared. He is a cute little guy and with a spa treatment and be loved on would be gorgeous and happy. She says she shows Pomerians and sells Min Pin. If these poor little Yorkies show how she takes care of her animals bet she does not win to much with the Poms.. Wish I were closer to Ohio I'd grab that Older male in a heart best.... |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | We have these people over here too. When I was looking for Crystal one tried to pass off another pup off as the one I'd seen the day before and yet another had a poor little girl in a crate part terrorized by her experience. The latter really upset me deeply and I had to park up for ten mins or so after leaving the premises, to get my composure back. The picture of the 'Older boy' is so upsetting, he looks lost and completely withdrawn. If I won the lottery I'd open a huge free re-homing facility for Yorkies with very thorough checks on future owners! |
