| New To Yorkie Talk! Hello yorkie family! I am new here so I'm not sure what all I am supposed to talk about on this forum. So if this isn't right feel free to delete or tell me what is. Any way I have had my yorkie for little over a month now. She is 6 months old, weighs 4 pounds now, and her name is Libbi Loo. I got her from a breeder that told me she was to small to breed so had to get rid of her. I am believing she was kept in a crate the first 4 months of her life. Never been outside on grass or inside. I think that sums up the intro. Looking forwarded to being part of this community! Oh also had a yorkie pass away a month ago her name is Baylee . I miss her everyday! |

| Hi and welcome to YT from a fellow Alabamian. What breeder did you get Libbi from? I am so happy she has been rescued to a loving home if what you say is true...bless her heart. I am so sorry for your loss of Bailey. Most of us know that pain. I am sure Libbi will help heal your heart

| Hi and welcome to YT. It's a great place to be. I just don't understand how you can say the breeder is helpful when she's not telling you the truth. How can a dog be outdoor potty trained if she was never out. She told you the dog was 6 months old when she was 4 months old. Well bottom line. I'm glad you rescued her and I'm sure she will get over her fears with alot of love. Not to pass judgement but I kind of think she was kind of mistreated. |

| Well I didn't want to talk bad about the breeder. And yea she wasn't potty trained at all. we are working on that. She is doing well too. And I'm with you on the mistreated part! Hopefully Libbi and I will be able to learn and get help for joining yorkietalk!

| Congrats on Libby Loo and I'm so sorry to hear about Baylee. I've been on that same kind of emotional roller-coaster with being so excited with my new pup Cookie but still sad over losing the love of my life Minnie two months ago. But Cookie is like my therapy dog in addition to being my best friend in the world. Give Libby some time and lots of love and I bet you get her full potential out just like we did with Minnie (she was rescued from a horrible situation too).
