I pick up my puppy Sunday :)

I am so excited. Last night I assembled my puppy apartment at my boyfriends house, and got things ready. My mom is driving down tomorrow, I will do her hair tomorrow (I am a hair stylist) then Sunday AM we drive to get the baby I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I hope that Teddy is going to be happy to have a friend, and I hope that I remember how to train a puppy. I have been reading and reading...

My favorite names right now are:

Baby
Lola
and Bunny rabbit. I would probably call her Bunny for short. Which names do you like best?

One more question...I have a water bottle on the side of her kennel. Will she just figure out how to use it?

I'm so excited for you! I haven't ever used the side water bottles, but I'm sure she will figure it out. I would give her a bowl of water too just in case.

Make sure to post pictures when she comes home

How exciting!! I would think she would figure it out but I would put a bowl incase. Dont want her getting dehydrated. I love the name Lola! I am sure Teddy will love her.

Hahaha thank you! I remember how excited I was when I got Miley! Now I just live through everyone else who gets new puppies because its such a happy feeling btw I really like the name Lola!

Thank you so much I will definitely leave out a bowl too, so many changes for the little one, I will ease her into the bottle. Did it take a long time for your dogs to become friends? I will post many pictures.

I'm glad you guys suggested a bowl of water! I htink in my excitement my brain is misfiring. I talked to my mom today and she was laughing. She told me that I am acting like it's Christmas Eve and I'm 10 years old instead of 37. I think she's just as excited. I like Lola too, Lola and Teddy sound good together

Mine gets so lonely .. I dont know anyone in my area that has a Yorkie/small dog. BTW Teddy is the cutest little boy

The big is finally here! Congratulations! I like all 3 names and they go with Teddy. Bunny was on my list before I knew that I was going to have a boy.

We'll be crossing fingers and paws for you that Teddy likes his new baby sister. My Max has an "only child" personality, but he still loves his baby brother and appreciates his company.

I can see how excited you are! Don't forget, having a puppy is like having a toddler around. They try to get into everything. I hope Teddy and your new puppy will get along great. I like all of the names. After you watch her for awhile, that may help you decide on her name. Can't wait to see pictures of her and Teddy.

I can't believe the day is almost here Kristin! It seemed like it was sooooo far away when I went to visit her. I'm glad the dogs figure out the water bottles. I was wondering how on earth I would teach them!

I have a long lead to keep her on if she is outside of her exercise pen. I used one when I was house training Teddy just so I would be more aware when he was circling to go to the bathroom. Hopefully it will be helpful
