| Grooming Combs I was told today by the groomer that I needed to get a comb and not use a brush on Coco. She said the brush causes them to matt. Coco is short haired and I've been brushing her daily and have had no matts. What is your advice? Maybe I'm using the wrong kind of brush?? It's one of the wire type brushes that most people use on dogs. If I need to use a comb please tell me what type comb I need. ThX Sorry, typing in the car |

| I would most definitely get a Madan mustache comb from Jenny (mimimomo) and I also have the shiny grooming comb that she sells. Both are amazing. The Madan pin brushes are great, too. I have one, but I also use a variety of other brushes including a wooden pin brush. That's really gentle on the dog, but it won't remove heavy mats. toplinepet.com #1 All Systems Wood Pin Massage Dog Brush

| I don't think I've ever heard that before... I'm guessing you're using a slicker brush like most. I use the smallest slicker brush. Brush them daily like you and I've never had any issues with matts or anything else. I do use a flea comb on Zoey's eyes to get the goo out. I've used the comb few times while giving them a haircut but that's about it... |

| First I've heard this! I use a brush and a comb, really 2 or 3 different types of each! My favs are the Madan brushes and combs from member Mimimomo (Jenny)
